  • Eat out today at any of the restaurants giving to SFWAR
  • 1st Thursdays gallery openings downtown. Most people don't care about the art
  • Single in the City panel of women writers 5.30pm reception at my new gig INFORUM. Should be gossipy and enjoyable. Who's bringing the cosmos?
  • Some crazy civilization experiment in cardboard opens tonight at Cell Space 7pm. Gotta love this city
  • Botticellis play at Aqua Surf shop 1742 Haight 7.30pm
Friday, April 4th:
  • Art Murmur in Oakland
  • "Cultured! A Gallery Hop in the Lower Haight" 7pm. I would have called it Art Stumble
  • City Art Cooperative Gallery reception of their Green show. Kermit is involved, for reals 828 Valencia 7-10pm
  • New show up at Artist Exchange 3169 16th St at Guerrero/Valencia 7-10pm
Saturday, April 5th:
  • Urban composting class at Garden for the Environment 10-noon. Yes, 10am, but you get to play with worms and then go to Arizmendi Bakery
  • Hate 98, but 99 is fine. SF Tenants Union is spreading this message, and you can too. Meet at 1015 Masonic to save rent control 11am
  • DIY is fly. Come hang out with food, fringe, friends, and other f'ing cool things at the SF Spring DIY Expo 1-6pm free at Benders 806 South Van Ness
  • 24th and Mission Art Walk 6-9pm. Where and what all in the title. Good job
  • Bernal Bubbles on the Cortland strip has their monthly Soapbox Lecture at like 10pm or something. Go hang out with quirky people and their wine
Sunday, April 6th:
  • Alemany Farm workday 12-5pm. Bring the friends you met Wednesday night
  • Clothing swap 1-3pm $5 if you bring clothes to trade, $7 if not. Benefits Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Mimosas and vegan treats!
