Wednesday, January 16th:
  • This birthday show at the Rickshaw Stop seems intriguing. French pop. Fingers crossed for cupcakes! 8pm $8
  • Holiday regifting party at O'Neill's Irish Pub. Free food and music, plus free admission if you bring something to trade (ie: that IRA, mace, or emergency flashlight/radio/cell charger your mom got you) 6.30-8.30pm
  • "Love your fat! The anti-diet show" at Swankety Swank and Neon Cafe. Films, art, chats about body image from all perspectives 7-10pm free McCallister/Divis
  • Free Gaucho jazz at Amnesia 8pm
  • The Guy Guys, Photo Booth, and Teutonics show at the Knockout. This show will be pretty rockin' 10pm $5
Thursday, January 17th:
  • Going to this crazy post-Mac-World thing. Spur of the moment decision. Come with me 5-midnight
  • BYOA (Art) event at AAACC. Goodie bags, networking, and how to get your stuff into galleries 6-9pm
  • Get your ne-on at Dan Deacon's show Great American Music Hall $too much to hang out with people who want to be from Williamsburg
  • Cool Kids show at the Independent $13 Free beer 8.30 whilst thee olde supplies lasteth (must RSVP)

  • Swap SF clothing swap. Probably not as cool as Jessy's swap, but worthwhile 12-3pm $5 with clothes/$10 without. To be clear, that means bringing clothes to swap saves you $5. Please don't come nude
  • Don't want 91% of your income to go towards rent? Attend the Save Rent Control Convention 1-4pm
  • Crafternoon in Bernal 12-5pm. Blanket & maybe even harness making, cookies & cake. Email me for more information
  • Oh, you didn't follow my advice and go to the Bart Davenport show Monday night where Devendra Banhart played a surprise set? Lucky for poor decision making you, Devendra is playing a free show at Amoeba 2pm. His show at MOMA Thursday sold out, so all the cheapo's and professional hobos will be here today
